On Earth as it is

In this year of the Pandemic, the daily reporting of the numbers and statistics of anonymous new cases and deaths forces us each day to confront our own fragility and mortality.  Thoughts of death and dying have become an everyday occurrence.

The images contained within the work can only be effectively viewed on a vintage Viewmaster. Denton challenges us to overcome boundaries, to look beyond our fleeting corporeal existence on earth to imagine the magnitude of eternity, and to consider that which we cannot know after we are dead.
